Family Storytime: Beth Ferry!

HCPL - Storytime

The last day of Storytimes for the summer is July 28th. We use August to plan for the Fall and to take our vacations. Still visit us and we’ll see you again for Storytime on September 1st!

This week’s storytime theme is featuring books by the author Beth Ferry! Here are some wonderful books we might read in storytime:

Stick and Stone

Stick and Stone: Best Friends Forever!

We Believe in You

Here are some songs and/or rhymes we might do in storytime:

Song: I Like Tacos! (tune: Alouette)
I like tacos, tacos, tacos, tacos,
I like tacos, they’re the best for me.
Guacamole on my nose?
Guacamole on your nose!
On my nose? On your nose.
Ohhhh! (repeat with different body parts)

Song: What’s the Weather? (tune: Oh, My Darling Clementine)
What’s the weather?
What’s the weather?
What’s the weather like today?
Is it sunny, is it rainy?
What’s the weather like today?

Song: Freeze Dance by The Kiboomers
Let’s play the party freeze game! (practice freezing and dancing)
Dancing, dancing all around,
Dancing, dancing, dancing,
Dancing any way you please,
But stop when I say FREEZE!

See you there!
