The City of Georgetown will hold a free public screening of the new documentary Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution in the Georgetown Public Library’s Hewlett Room on Monday, Dec. 11. The screening starts at 7 p.m., which is the same time as the premiere of the film on HBO. In
The library will begin holiday hours on December 18. The building will close at 6 p.m. through the new year, resuming normal hours on 1/2/18. The library will closed for the holiday on December 24, 25, & 26, as well as New Year’s Day. No items are due these days.
It’s hard enough to shop for all your family and friends this holiday season. Come to this Adultish Holiday Craft Crawl for some fun and easy DIY gifts. We’ll paint wineglasses, make bath salts, sugar scrubs, and more! We’ll be crafting the night away on December 15 from 6-8 p.m.
Celebrate the holiday season by dressing up as your favorite character! Cosplay is encouraged but there will also be opportunities to make cosplay accessories at the event. Crafts, snacks, games, music, and a costume contest. Please make sure costumes are family friendly. Free and open to teens ages 12-18. Pizza
