Spring Break at the Library

Spring Break is full of fun at the library.

Monday March 13

10:30 am- Magician Rodney Rash will perform

Tuesday March 14

10:30 am – Big Truck Petting Zoo

See live and up close some big trucks from various City of Georgetown departments such as a firetruck, police car, street sweeper, digger, and more.  Talk to the big truck operators about their jobs and trucks.  Crafts inside and big trucks outside.

Wednesday March 15

2:00 pm- Paw Patrol Party

No job is too big, no dog is too small for a Paw Patrol Party.  Join us for crafts, treats, and police officer as a special guest.

Thursday March 16

2:00 pm – Teddy Bear Picnic and Movie

Winnie the Pooh  Rated G

Bring your own teddy bears, blankets, snacks, and drinks.  The Library will provide popcorn and water.

Friday March 17

10:00 am – Lego Day

Learning Fun 101 is providing fun with Legos.  Free build in the giant pile of Legos, make spin art, play with Lego robots.

Friday March 17

1:00 pm -Tween Chopped

Ages 9-12   Registration is required. Sign up at the Children’s Desk, or call the Library at (512) 930-3551.

Compete as a team to create the very best snacks and desserts. We provide the ingredients, and it’s up to you to mash, toast, and chop your way to victory!
