Spring Break at GPL
Come to the library and say goodbye to winter and hello to spring during Spring Break! On Monday, we’ll be visited by some big trucks. The next day, Elizabeth Kahura will entertain us with music and stories about Africa! Thursday is Lego Day! Learning Fun 101 will bring hundreds, thousands, millions (maybe not millions) of Legos for free-building and more. Tweens ages 9-12 will be on the case on Friday as they solve the Gator Caper at GPL Zoo. All events are free, so stop on by and have some fun at the library! Note: There are no storytimes this week.

Oh no! Garry Gator is at it again! The prankster escaped from the swamp exhibit last night! He released five zoo animals and hid them in secret locations! After the night of mischief, he’s back in his swampy exhibit, fast asleep and refusing to talk. Before he drifted off to dreamland, he slipped a note under Andie Mall’s door in the main zookeeper office! Garry Gator said there are riddles to solve to figure out which animals are hidden and where! The staff of the GPL Zoo needs to hurry and find the animals and get them back in their exhibits before it’s time to open the zoo! Event is free and open to tweens ages 9-12. Due to limited space, FREE tickets for issued beginning an hour before the program. First come, first served. Program is limited to 24 participants.
