Join us for our next series of Family Place Playshops—Play, Learn, Grow! These playshops are specially designed for children ages 12-36 months and their parents and caregivers. You’ll have time to connect with other parents, opportunities to talk one-on-one with local experts on various aspects of child development and early literacy, and plenty of playtime with your child!
The playshops are informal, play-based, and child-centered. A different resource professional will be introduced each week. They will speak individually with parents and caregivers, addressing questions and concerns you may have. Workshops will be held on Wednesdays from 10-11 am on September 26-October 24.
The workshop topics are:
- Wednesday, September 26: Early Literacy and Vision
- Wednesday, October 3: Music Therapy
- Wednesday, October 10: Health and Safety
- Wednesday, October 17: Child Development
- Wednesday, October 24: Speech & Hearing
Space is limited and registration is required. When registering for Play, Learn, Grow, you are committing to attend all five workshops. Please visit EventBrite to register for this event.
