Shefali O’Hara and Angelica Lopez: Winter Holiday Exhibit

12/4/17 – 1/5/18

Shefali O’Hara and Angelica Lopez present an exhibit with a winter holiday theme.

The exhibit of watercolor and acrylic illustrations will be in the library’s second floor gallery space, and the public is invited to join the artists at a reception on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 4-7 pm.

Shefali O’Hara used to be an electrical engineer. However, after she got a type IV cancer she switched gears and about four years ago she became an artist. Her preferred medium is watercolor, though she also has worked with India ink and charcoal. Vibrant colors, whimsy, and a sense of joy permeate her art.

Her work has been displayed in the Austin Art Space, the Round Rock Art Space, the Round Rock Public Library, and the Terra Toys gallery. She also has permanent exhibit space at the Framer’s Gallery in Georgetown and until recently she was a permanent artist at Antiques and Artisans on the square. You can see her art at her Facebook Artists’ page, Austinlace.

Shefali O’Hara has previously exhibited her work at the Round Rock Public Library.
