CANCELLED: Mr. Rogers’ Birthday Party for Teens

3/13/2020: Due to concerns for everyone’s health and safety we are making the hard choice to cancel our Spring Break events. Social distancing is an effective tool in slowing the transmission of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus.

As of now, the building is still open, you can still stop by and check out items. We will keep you apprised of any other cancellations or closures as they happen by posting on social media and on our website.

Wear your spiffiest cardigan to celebrate the life of a legend on Friday, March 20 at 3 pm. Do your best Mr. Rogers impersonation and compete in a look-alike contest. Enjoy cake and birthday party fare, chill out, and watch old school episodes of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood on the big screen. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

This event is free and open to teens ages 12-18. No preregistration is required. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please contact Teen Services Librarian Melissa Mote at melissa.mote@georgetown.org or (512) 819-3132 with any questions.
