Mes De La Herencia Hispana

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15-October 15.

On September 24 at 2 p.m. the Library will be hosting Round Rock Ballet Folklorico. Their performance is free and open to the public.

On October 1 from noon to 4 p.m., attend Fiesta Georgetown! This event is not a City sponsored event, but will have many departments and bilingual representatives in attendance. It will be located at City Center, the block that has the Library, Historic Light and Water Works building, and City Hall. Parking is available in the lots next to the Library.  For more information, go here.

How else do we celebrate Hispanic Heritage? By reading and watching media by Hispanic creators. Check out one of these lists broken down by age group:

Watch this Tuesday Talk about our local Hispanic heritage. Watch that video here.

We’re very excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with you. If you have any questions, please call the Library at 512.930.3551.
