The Georgetown Public Library hosts “Live Music at the Library” at 2 pm the third Sunday of most months of the year; the concerts are free and open to the public. Seating is limited to 200 attendees.

Austin Flute Choir

The Austin Flute Choir  was established in 1991 as part of the Austin Flute Society and is comprised of amateur and professional flutists from around the city. Its instrumentation includes piccolos, C-flutes, alto flutes, bass flutes, and a contrabass flute.

“Our program will feature sounds from across the world and across time. Featuring composers and  from Mexico, Ireland, Russia, The United States, France, and Japan, our program will feature a diverse offering of music that every listener can enjoy and appreciate. And yes, some special St. Paddy’s Day music!”

The flute choir performs repertoire ranging from classical, modern, popular, jazz, and folk music. The ensemble performs between four and six concerts each year around the Austin metro area.
