Artist Reception for Kelley Propst: Fallen

Kelley Propst creates leaf art repurpose nature and use it as a canvas to capture moments and memories she has while out hiking on trails or vacations. She says things like ” The “Waterfall” leaf captures the moment after a good rain storm on part of the Running Brushy Hiking Trail.  The “Bozeman” leaf captures me fly fishing for the first time in Bozeman, Montana.   “The Way Out West” leaf captures part of West Texas and on this leaf I incorporate the leaf’s natural color to capture the orange sky at sunset. ”

All the leaves are painted using acrylics.
