July 8 | 7 p.m. | Underwater Archaeology

Going Back from Whence We Came: The Search for Ancient Peoples in the Seas presented by D. Clark Wernecke, Executive Director The Gault School of Archaeological Research

What landmass that is larger than the entire western hemisphere hosted the beginnings of modern humanity? Explore the continental shelf-an area that was exposed when the sea was 200 feet lower than it is today. Looking for signs of humans underwater is a challenge that human ingenuity is beginning to answer.

July 13 | 6:30 p.m. | Swimming with Men

Screening. A man suffering from a mid-life crisis finds new meaning in his life after joining an all-male, middle-aged, amateur synchronized swimming team. Rated PG-13.

July 22 | 7 p.m. | Shanties & Shandies

All good pirates know their grog. Join Barking Armadillo Brewery for a beer tasting. Learn about the brewing process and taste local brews. Make your own pirate flag. Registration is required and opens 7/1. This event is free and open to the public ages 21+.
