The library has recently purchased access to a website called Books and Authors. This website is full of information and is searchable by titles, authors, and other criteria and is a virtual online community of book readers who are sharing opinions about good titles and related subjects.

You can:

• Search for books that are similar to one that you like
• Browse suggestions by genre
• Recommend books and write reviews
• Find information about a title such as how long it was on a bestseller list, publishing date, reprints, and more!

If you have a book you'd like to review or if you'd just like to access this site from your home computer, call the Reference Desk at the Georgetown Public Library (512-930-8461) to obtain your remote access logon.
